Thread: The time scale?

    Default The time scale?

How much turns per year or how much years per turn win the long grand campaign? Someone says 2 years per turn and other says 2 turns per year; But in my game I am on turn 45 and on AD 1168. So it appears there are 2 years per turn? Doesn't this makes the time period a little bit short?

    If you go to here
    C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign
    descr_strat file

Alter the turn scale from 2 to 0.5
Alter the file properties to 'write'
    and then save :)

I read a good post by Burebista who, after some testing, thought setting it to 1.00 was more balanced.I'm no modder so i couldnt tell you all the implications of setting it to x does but i followed his advice and set it to 1.00.Personal preference as with most things i suppose.

Yeah, 1.00 gives a game which feels similar in pace to MTW1 IMO.
