Aligning Troops ala Rise Of Nations

On the battlefield, is there a way to tell your troops which way to face when they set up their line after completing a move? My spearmen will march off and then form a line facing a random direction, leaving their flanks exposed. In rise of nations you could click and then drag in the direction you want them to face.

The same maneuver applies here. Right click on the destination point, hold and drag and you'll get a set of purple arrows showing the position of the men and their facing.

If you need to change the way they're facing without actually moving to a new position, press "," or "." and release when the highlighted preview is facing the way you want. That's a little tricky and takes practice not to overshoot, but it works.
