    Default Medieval genetics programs?

Is this possible? Were they freezing sperm back then? King Rufus died in battle in 1138 and a daughter became available at the age of 16, in the year 1188. I am trying to do the math here but... what am I not seeing?

I think that's down to the fact that the Generals/Agents age at a different rate to the passage of years. IIRC it's a 1:4 ratio, and if they didn't do this you'd be getting through Kings every 5-10 turns.

Well, obviously King Rufus' widow got pregnant after he husband died and, to avoid scandal, the court made up some story about the dead king's ghostly visitation to his wife.

I think there's something the widow isn't telling us

Gives new meaning to the term "Queen Mother" now doesn't it?! Looks like the royal blood may have gotten a bit diluted...OOPS!

This is very easy to fix, if you want 2 turns/year (like Rome Total War) instead of 2 years/turn. The characters age correctly and the game moves more slowly (900 total turns), for me anyway. I recommend it.

Either ask me how or you can probably find it somewhere on the forum.

    How?

Somehow a heroic victory in 1180 sounds much better then a heroic victory in turn 50...
