Anyone found a fast way to exit the game? With Rome I'd do console -> quit and boom, windows desktop. Alt-F4 doesn't work, I can Alt-Tab out and process kill M2TW but I rather not do that.. Anyone?

My guess is that you probably should not be closing it other than using the escape key and hitting exit. Closing programs abruptly can cause file-linking problems.
Just be patient and spend the 10 seconds it takes to do it the right way...

Well there's a defeatist view defended by fear, uncertainty and doubt. Anyone find a good list of console commands yet?

Confirmed. This is good material for the patch wishlist thread. A /quit console command that cleanly dumps back to Windows without confirmation is a great idea and a common feature in other games with command consoles as well. I'm not sure what the statement about linking files is.... but the premise is that one doesn't care about savegames by doing this.
