I inherited a new desktop from a friend of the family. I boot it up, load some music and fire up iTunes. Error message pops up saying I have no sound card. I look inside the machine and there's an aging Turtle Beach Santa Cruz that is caked and dust and broke.

So what advice do you computer gurus have in sound cards. Nothing more than 80-100 dollars. This only has to last a year until I blow all my money on a computer for college.
