Faction priorities

In the diplomacy menu, the priorities of the faction I negotiate with are always unknown. Does anybody knows how to reveal this?

In MTW you got occassional messages about the intentions of another faction if you left a spy in a city or stack of this faction.

Check out this thread from about a week ago (things get buried very quickly in the Citadel these days!) There is some speculation and a couple of rules about it, but there is still a lot of unknown on this topic. Would be a good one to research a bit.

It is in fact easier to see the priorities of the faction you are contacting if you have a diplomat with high influence... but I believe that also gets applied with Charm as well (something that has been, in my experience, easier to build up). With really high level princesses and diplomats I can often get an advanced warning about attacks by checking up on my neighbors.
