Locked threads

I got two questions. One I was going to address with a PM, but decided that, as I am posting this thread, I should ask it here.

1. Locked threads. Are they 'unlockable'? If, say, the admin/mod was to decide that the content was constructive after all, could he unlock it? Related to this, can Mods/Admins post in locked threads?

2. The above question was, of course, asked with an agenda :D. Why was my swear words thread locked? As far as I could see it broke no rules, and was meant completely seriously. As it is, I am still not sure of the answeres to the questions I asked there. I was wondering if you could tell me why it was locked, and perhaps, provide me with an answer to my question, either in this thread or that.

Maybe it was because we had a lot of those "why am I not allowed to swear"-threads where similar questions have been answered.

Guess the Admin/staff/moderators are getting bored with these kinds of threads. Maybe they are bored having to answer the same questions over and over again.

Well, I can't speak for them, but I do can for myself:

Threads can be unlocked as long as the key isn't lost. Oeps, there it goes.. clumsy Tosa.
