I don't know, man. I think your faction leader has to die. Either that or figure out a way to give the Pope a happy ending.

I'm beginning to think we should stick a topic that says, "Read the Game Manual before posting questions"
send a princess or a diplomat to the pope and request reconcilliation... it'll probably cost you quite a bit. You might have to give up a large sum of money or a region. Giving the papacy regions can be an effective strategy as some nations refuse to attack the papacy.
Otherwise, kill the pope or your king, or wait a long time and be nice.
I have tried it with a diplomat. I offered two regions, plus map information in exchange for reconciliation, but the Pope didn't accept it.Originally Posted by Xaziv
I've also killed my king but two turns after that I'm still not reconciled.
What should I do now?
Just kill the stupid Pope. 5-6 assasisn will do the job.
Have you tried building priest's and churches to improve your standing? How about letting prisoners go free, al help imrpve papal standing. donating money for a few turns helps. Once your standing improves, then it is easier to seek recounciliation.Originally Posted by Kazuma
