    Default Ubersoldat?

A while back, there was some discussion in EBH (or was it the Gameplay forum?) about how to deal with "Super elites", i.e. elite soldiers with full gold chevrons, who thereby became unstoppable killing machines. The worst offenders, I believe, were the Agemata and Kleuchory soldiers of the Ptolemaioi, and the Romani Triarii. Has this situation been dealt with somehow- i.e. capping upgrades at the silver chevron mark?

I`m on 262BC with the Aeduii, and from the number of battles I`ve fought, I can say that the triarii are pretty much the same as in 0.74...

    Not invincible, but extremely tough.

The Gasaetae on the other hand don`t seem such a benemoth as once in 0.74. Alas, I`ve only played one battle with these, so I can`t say much about them...

Good, because as it is they're crucifying my Aedui armies.

I can't help but think of the movie SS Doomtrooper.

On topic, is it even possible to remove all experience modifiers? Since troop types in EB and their stats already reflect experience it's an unnecessary abstraction.
