    Post Minor Quibbles

After playing the game some today, I only have a couple minor things to point out that you may want to look at. They're pretty minor, but I thought you should know nonetheless.

    1) I played a Custom Battle at the Hanging Gardens, and while that Wonder itself looks great, there was another building next to it that looked "wrong." It was bigger than the Gardens, and much uglier. Here:

    2) When I started a KH campaign, an advisor popped up about 6 out of the 8 first turns, saying the same thing about Ptolemaic Egypt wandering around Caria. Am I supposed to be doing something here? Because I just dismissed him everytime.

    3) I know you guys are addressing this in another thread, but the text situation needs to be altered soon in a patch or something.

Too many of the lines are simply unreadable.

OK, now that I have these minor issues out, I want to say THANK YOU for this awesome mod. Truly awe-inspiring and καλὸς. Many thanks.

    EDIT:

I forgot one other thing. I tried uploading a video of a light infantry soldier fighting an invisible enemy, and his unit, far away, being in disarray as a result. The video is low-res, but you can see it here:

This has never happened to me before EB 0.8, so I'm not sure what is causing it.

Hanging gardens are just a set piece. We really don't control that, as far as my understanding goes.

Your number two point is remedied already by BozosLiveHere. It will probably be in 0.81 patch very soon.

The last one we are looking at still. We may get this changed soon, but maybe not by 0.81, dunno yet. Thanks for the compliments though.

minor thing i noticed- in a custom battle, the spartan hoplites were wielding both their swords and spears in the same hand at the same time. ive seen units holding their weps while throwing pilas before but this is the first time ive seen 'dual wielding'.

that will be fixed too dram. I think Aymar has said on a public post here somewhere that he hopes to have the patch up in under a week, but you never know what happens.

You think the patch will be savegame compatible?

I personally doubt it - there will be a lot of fixes in it. They might get it to be savegame compatible, but I'm not sure of it yet.

    Cool Re: Minor Quibbles

hey thanks for acknowledging all the questions man.

something else i noticed in my sweboz campaign is that my generals seem to randomly pick up the 'naisammanoz' trait, which is described as being given for 'cowardice or defeat in an election', but the thing is they havent lost any battles and i havent changed the facton heir so i dont know why they get it.

they just get it sometimes when i end turn, but then later it may dissapear.

ive found that... hrabnatz, im not sure if that name is correct, anyway its the german general who starts in the south-east at the beginning of the game, he seems to get it every time when i end the first turn.

to be honest i actually noticed this in 0.74 but i forgot to mention it

Seeing as most of the things I found have already been stated here, as well as the name is fitting, a few things.

-All the strat models of ports are huge ports (level 3) dispite what port level is built. Is this just me?

-I keep having random guys wonder off in the middle of battles. Usually one or two guys in a phalanx will be about a hundred meters behind the group, just standing there. And one time an enemy group routed and they all fleed one way except for a single guy fleeing in the opposite direction. Of course my pursuing guys went to the spot in the middle, miles from either groups.

-Just a few questions about greek towns: Why is Athens and Sparte large_town and Korinthos a small town when they were all quite developed cities? And Rhodes is a city, bigger then Sparta and Athens? (Similar with Eporis and Macedon.)

-Eastern Greeks capitals: Should not Seleucids have Seleukia as their capital? Should not Ptolemai have Alexandria as their capital? (Related: Can AI move their capital in 1.5?)

-Toggle fog and I can see everything, everywhere. "Perfect Spy"?
