First of all, a huge thanks to the mod team for their tremendous effort in releasing 0.8! It's something I've been looking forward to for a while, and I'm looking even more forward to playing it in the near future.

So what are you guys doing now? Taking a break? Seeing long-lost girlfriends? Working toward the final 1/5 part of the mod?

Have three essays to write for the 15th December, though I found out today that one of them has in fact got a deadline for after Christmas, Woohoo!!

Oh and reading all the great stuff people are saying about 0.8 is fantastic, gives a real sense of achievment.

You had better hurry up and get back foot. Everybody probably doesn't realize how important this guy is to us. Work on the Hayasdan, but we'll need you back soon compiling too!

Had a beer to clebrate the release, and then joined in on the discussions about what we do next, timing of the bug fixes, what should be in the next release, etc. Pretty good feeling to see it hit the street, tho.

I don't suppose I've taken a break on it. I'm trying to get starting greek rebel and greek faction armies more realistic and interesting. Indian cities really full of like four or five different indian type units, nubians in nubia, arabians in arabia, massiliote hoplites in Massilia, cretan archers on crete, a spartan with Areus, Antigonos in more trouble from Pyrrhos, some tarantinoi in south italy and sicily, etc., etc.

But yes, very pleased to see the positive reaction and people really enjoying it.
