Adding a new Trait Trigger doesn't work?

hey, it seems i can add new ancillary traits okay but thought i'd add a new trigger to the character traits just to see if I could make it work and the game either doesn't recognise or run it at all. this is the trigger:

Trigger princess_dad_was_french
WhenToTest CharacterComesOfAge

Condition FactionType france
and AgentType = princess

Affects PretentiousWoman 1 Chance 100

I changed constance the french princess to 15, on the second turn she appears but without the trait.

Any ideas?

ignore me, I hadn't restarted the game. now I have it works like a charm... or lack of charm :-)
