Screen Shot + Replay Questions

Hello I am a newly registered user for The Guild :)

This seems to be a good community for Total War players and I have a question regarding Screen Shots and Replays in Medieval 2.

1. How can I remove my HUD/Interface during battles/replay so I can take shots of purely units/battles?
2. Is there a way to increase the screen shot resolution?

Also I have a question about replays. My main frustration with it is that it's not necessarily a "replay". In fact, I've never saw a single fight being replicated as the way I played it and it's very annoying for me as I'm trying to watch replays and improve my plays. Is this working as intended?

1. In the options panel, under gameplay, there is an option for Minimal UI. Enable it.
OR
Options in battle, same thing.

2. Screenshots, no, they should be at the resolution you play at.'

Replays are not movies of what happened, but commands of what you did example: Move unit A to spot x 12,56 y 56,12

The battle outcome can be completly different including who won. Otherwise the file size would be huge.

my screenshots are definitely not the resolution i play at: 1600*1200 and screenies 1024*768, desktop resolution is 1280*1024 btw. i haven't found a way to change the screenshot resolution either, except using fraps or some such.

Yup my screenshots are also 1024 but im playing at 1280. Weird.

Replays seem to be bugged in the exact same way in every TW game at release. They usually manage to fix it eventually (dunno if they did for Rome or not, but pretty sure they did for MTW).
