    Unhappy Help ???

    well ...
why HCav uses the sword and not the lance ???

.. rememberd something from Shogun : when you want the enemy to die realy fast dont click on the enemy ! instead a double-click behind them ! whit Takeda even Cav archers made sushi out of the enemy ... in Medieval 2 sometimes Havy Cav use the sword :( .. not good ...

    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx - enemy

    cccccccc - cav

normaly they should smash through .. * 90% of the times works well * say the terrain prohibits u from flank and rear attack so you do as Takeda did shake the grund and charge in full speed dont stop and voila your cav is on the enemys rear * ... they even lover they lances as in the old movies ... :))) ...
sadly Cav archers do far better than HCav ... *??? bug* same method end they treble the enemy into the ground ... hold on a sec is this not what HCav should do ???
Light cav as in Rome works well flank/rear and the battle is 99% yours ! same whit archers who have fired all there arrows , now they fight whit swords ... maybe the Knights are feeling dizzy in all that armor and forgot how tho swing a sword properly ??? at least for me HCav is not working ... maybe i dont know how to use my mouse properly ...
so pls someone tell me either i`m stupid or what ???
    Thanx ...

Dex, you need to read up. The Cav charge problem is all over the board.

The triggers for a formed (powerful) charge include:
    • Line up the cavalry parallel to the target
    • Utilize a long straight run up toward the target
    • Prioritize stationary targets as moving targets may result in a last second turn and reform

The triggers for an unformed (weak) charge include:
    • The unit is spread out just before charging
    • The charge is issued while too close to the target
    • The charge is issued when the unit isn’t facing the target
    • The player changes direction just before the charge
    • The target moves and turns just before being hit
Riding through doesn't work as it did before, your unit will be in the state of marching and the enemy can slash at you without your unit fighting back.

Please use more descriptive titles for threads. "Help?" is hopeless. Title changed.
