I played an 80-turn Saba game last weekend and it was a hard core, rockin' good time! I was at war with Ptolemaioi and the Seleukids, and battling those heavy greek phalanx troops with what is largely a skirmisher army.....well, it's REAL challenging! One of the really cool things is that you have a similar game-play benefit to that enjoyed by the historical Sabaens - you can see the enemy coming for many turns before they reach you. So you have time to gather up the right kind of troops to take on each invading force, and to rebuild after the inevitable heavy losses.
That's a great strategy for defending the homeland area, but I suspect the shoe will be on the other foot when Saba tries to launch a military operation on the other end of the Arabian Desert.
