    If it was the kind used to secure cardboard boxes for shipping that stuff is almost as strong as duct tape. We use a scotch brand tape to secure flaps of cardboard boxes that hold 50+ pounds of product.

    Amazing stuff tape, the width and thickness I beleive has an impact on its holding strength. But the material makes it easier to cut and tear because it lacks fibers.

    Rather distressful article you found. Truth is often stranger the fiction.
