I'm pretty sure this has already been noted, but I'd like to comment that this seems like it applies to every type of ancillary.
Yes, it has already been noticed. If it happens with others, please post.
You can have both a herbalist and a physician.
You got them in the same turn right? Because otherwise it should be impossible.
I don't actually know, I just noticed that he had both. I was trading ancillaries in carthago, I think that was probably when he got it.
Ok, retested it with the same guy. He has always had a herbalist, and I can drag/drop a physician and churgeon on him. Do the effects double up by any chance?
They will, but they shouldn't be in the same character.
why shouldn't a general be able to have a physician, herbalist, doctor, etc... as long as it is within the 8 retinue limit?
They all give the same benefit, and should be separate to get a more diverse retinue.
got two armourers for a parthian general in one turn once, I think.

Getting two armorers for the Parthians seems to happen a lot. I had assumed it was intentional since each armorer has a different image.
More troubling is the worshipper of Mithras trait, which seems to double up with great abandon.
Thanks for the heads up on the armourer. The whole priest/worshipper system is a mess right now, and will be rebuilt from scratch in the next versions. No need to report about them.Originally Posted by Philippe
