Baktrian Campaign

I've been having fun with a Baktrian campaign. Everything is running smoothly, except when I try and engage the Selucids in battle. Each time I do there is a CTD and an error code "Failed to find texture 'eb/data/models_unit/textures/unit_barb_infantry_dacia.tga' ".

Alternatively, autoresolving the battles works fine

Any ideas?

That is because the Baktrioi Hippeis unit is screwed up and uses the wrong texture. Get rid of that one unit and use your others, or just wait till 0.81 to play as them.

Sorry for the problem, this seems to be one of our biggest errors for 0.8. We are working as hard as we can to get them fixed.

Yea, thats what killed my Baktria campaign. Seleukids took me over because I couldn't fight them properly.

Thanks for the prompt reply; I've retired the hippeis to a nearby hillfort and my plans for regional domination are now back on track.

And please, there's absolutely no need to apologise! You guys have developed and delivered a superb mod, which I appreciate is a work-in-progress, and I thank you again for the workaround.

Ah, I was wondering why any custom battle i played with Baktria persistently crashed. Are there any other units other than the Hippeis that use the wrong texture?
