Janius, AFAIK, the reforms dont happen automatically once conditions are met. Theres a certain chance they will happen each turn once those conditions are met, rather. Remember also you must have a general with a decently high influence to get the Reformator trait.

Masta your MICs are already at highest levels that early? egads..

I got the reform around 240 BC, I think getting it to activate has a lot to do with beating up Carthage, as I have taken all of Italy on the south side of the alps including sicily and the other islands, the north west coast of greece, and all the territories from Massilia to the end of Iberia. I've got loads of money, at some point I was well over one million funds. Once you get it you'll have a polybian icon in your settlements and you'll get new options for barracks or have to rebuild the max barracks if you already have it. The next tier of units are basically the same, but they have higher armor instead of skill.

C'mon Zak, the players are already confused enough without getting bad info from members. The Polybian reforms have the requirements listed on the FAQ plus year > 242BC. If all conditions are met, they are gonna happen, no random chance. When they do, you'll get a Polybian Era building in your troop producing cities and will be able to upgrade your MICs. When you're done, you'll be able to recruit Polybian units.

i was wondering if the dynamic reforms apply to the aedui with the neitos reforms?. also, if i destroy the romans before 242BC, which is pretty much a foregone conclusion, does this effect my ability to get the reforms?.

No, Celtic reforms are fixed for now. Check the FAQ for the dates.

Bozos, sorry.. but Ive always noticed it takes a few turns to kick in on my games, at least in the internal builds.

What about his situation where he already has the highest level MICs? does he have to destroy them and rebuild?

Oh by the way, speaking of reforms, ---found a bug yesterday, at game start there is a Camilian Era icon in Messana.

The building was there because we were told so. It will be moved to Segesta on .81.

It should allow you to "rebuild" lvl 5 Polybian. Zak, when you right click on the MIC in Roma, scroll down to the very end. Does it say A1-MIC5?
