    Default 0.8 Building Description and Text Errors/Edits

    BUILDINGS ONLY (no units here, but this does count for all regular buildings, unique buildings, and reform buildings)

    Report them here.

    Someone already mentioned in the Apollo temple series there is a "nand" instead of "and". That should be easy to search and replace.

    Anyone else find problems in this area, errors in export_buildings.txt, should report them here and in 0.82 and future builds we will try to have them ironed out.

    K1-MIC is described as a recruitment building for western greeks usuable by makedonia and Baktria. Certainly seems like an error, since Baktria is one of the farthest east factions you can choose.

    When i conquered Side (Sidon), on the traits scroll of my general, it said that i had conquered Damascus, with alkl the text that comes with Strabos description.

    In the description for the roman Quinquerreme, it says something like:

    "...a huge (Latin name for Carthaginean here) Quinquerreme was found abandoned on our coasts..."

    PS: Hey... this is only for reporting little errors like the one above, or is it also for reporting missing descriptions? Cuz I`ve found quite a bit, for example the description of Roman Large Stone Walls, Roman Mines, Roman Large Mines and so on...

    I'm not sure about unit descriptions.

    Not sure if this is the correct thread, but there are two wall/fortification buildings in Mtskheta, just north of the Hayasdan starting capital. Don't know if one is just a place-holder or what, but . . .

    Just started playing a new game as Lusotannan. Not sure if it has been reported but the small trading port (forget the exact name), the building that takes like 32 or 33 turns to build, has a picture of a barracks on it. If you want the exact name let me know and I will give it to you sometime when I am at home and not at work.

    Writing building descriptions is alot of time, believe it or not if you want a good one. The Romans should have all their buildings done shortly though.

    In the amber road there is a place where a space is needed between "sea" & "merchant". When I first read it I saw it and thought, "What is a seamer chant?"

    Is this where I put typos in building descriptions, etc?

    If so:

    Qarthadasti buildings:
    On Grant of Land, it reads, "A land grant is governmental lisence to a specified area." This should be licence.

    On the Medium School, it reads, "Arithametic", when it should be Arithmetic.

    Romani:

    Both the Romani Paved Roads and Highways are described as being 6m wide, even though it says Highways are twice the size of Paved Roads!

    No desc. for Grant of Land

    "Roman" has a capital "R" (applies to many of the things)

    The Villae Rusticae desc. is just full of typos

    When a Navalia Magna is built in the same turn as at least one other building, the message you get involves something along the lines of, "we are now able to BUILT better ships" - obviously, the verb is "to build".

    Saba:

    No desc. for Market


    Carthage:

    The Pillars of Herakles simultaneously give a +5% Happiness Bonus and a -5% Happiness Bonus!

    I'll post more when I find them.

    I'm playing Armenia. They need the sewers to build their hospitals buildings, but they can't build the sewers. As a result their population growth is stunned, very hard to reach city level 3.

    This must be already known: Armenia among a bunch of other factions have trade fleet 4 ports cost at 35000$ and 36 turns.

    This isn't actually a proper port. If you read the description you will see that it says that this is for places that don't have natural harbours large enough to hold a larger port, so the building represents not only the building of the port, but also the extensive work in building an artificial harbour by ancient methods. It ain't no sim city, y'know

    All level 5 MICs for Romans and Greeks say it takes only 1 turn to build at 15000 mnai when you hover over the building in the construction scroll, but when you rghtclick to call out the historical write-up scroll the hourglass in the upper right corner states it takes 15 turns to build. Some conflict there.

    Have you been using the "process_cq" cheat?
