Wow where is my post?
You can recruit semnites in this province. But they are Regional troops so you will need to build Regional MIC and not faction mic. Gov 4 would be the best choice if you want to recruit units in that province.
Mic Level 2 and Mic Level 4 have Semnites units avaible.
I didn't say I can't recruit nothing, but I have can't recruit my faction units. Whitch shoud be posible whit 2. goverment type, and faction MIC's
No, it shoudn't. If you mean units like Pezhetairoi and Peltastai, those were always drawn from Hellenistic populations.
I'm not sure where Arpi is (southern Italy I guess, if LorDBulA meant samnites), but you can't recruit Pezhetairoi and Peltastai in Patavium for example, despite the fact that you can build a level 2 government there, because the inhabitants are Celtic.
The availability of a type II government only indicates that your faction would historically have been able to expand here and keep a tight grip on the province.
The MIC descriptions need to be made more clear as to what units can be recuited and when

Agree whit mcantu, or an guid, should be created.
I think units like Akontistai, Sphendonetai, Taxeis Hoplitai or Toxotai, should by recrutaibel eaven in farer parts, because, i dont think there were any diference betwean a poor greek or a poor nongreek citizen. I mean cheep units, which were created from the botom class.
Im not an expert in this, so i might be wrong, its my opinion.
And I think that the 2. goverment should be available in provinces, where the fraction could export it's culture.

It is impossible to list all possible recruitment areas in the MIC description. As it should say in the MIC description right now in the STRATEGY section or below, if you right click on a MIC before building it and see no available units, it is probably not worth your time building it. This is about the only advice we can provide at this stage in the game until we can get some more units spread around. We still have more than 150 units planned for the game, so it'll happen - just not immediately.Originally Posted by mcantu
The problem is that some places have things on the second tier, but not the first, so you are never sure is something will be available.Originally Posted by blacksnail
In this thread: https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=75090 (scroll down to the map picture), they say they will release a semi-guide to recruitment quantity for each faction.Originally Posted by Ower

hey blacksnail, do you already know all the provinces that are struggling with units or do you want the participants of the public beta to list them?
I have a question about Sparte and "No Units". As HK the recruitment in Sparte is "different" from the other cities. And when I took it as Romani, I can only recruit missile units in the regional MIC. Is this intensional? It seems weird that nobody in Sparta has the ability to be a infantryman.
The same thing with pahlavan gava-mazsakata i mentioned. Despite of type of gov installed no units can be recruited. Only way is to stay with nomadism and daha horse skermishers. But it is homeland prov!!! Where my lovely Pahlavan HA (with blue T-shirts :) )
Campaigns:
EB1.1 Qarthadast - completed
EB1.1+MMP1.1 Pahlava campaign (VH/M)- ceased by RL
EB1.2(alx.exe)+MMP3.1 for Alex(Lz3) Hayasdan - ongoing
We already know where most of the holes are. But as blacksnail said, given that 150 some odd units are still potentially on the list, some gaps are going to be inevitable.Originally Posted by soibean
But here's the real deal. EB is supposed to be about the ancient world and the way it was. So that means you should NOT be able to just recruit guys everywhere you go. And there IS an alternative. Mercenaries. You can hire THEM in any province. And that IS realistic.
So if you can't recruit guys in province "x", get 'em the old fashioned way. Pay for 'em. It's not like you have no options here.

I have no problem whit that, I complain only about the fact that in a provinc where you have 1 or 2 gov (where your faction has potencial influence) you should be able to recruit at least the cheep trops, and it's not so.Originally Posted by Kull
