WMV Joining

Hi Geeks,

I have a question -- I've got a number of segmented videos which, for convenience's sake, I would like to join together. I was hoping to find some freeware that could do this without muss or fuss. Anybody know of a freeware or shareware utility that can join together WMV files without a lot of bother?

If I use a real video-editing app, I'm going to have to import them, join them manually, etc. I don't want to waste the time. All were shot at the same resolution, all are in the same format, so there must be a friendly little app somewhere that will let me glue them together, right?

Suggestions welcome.

Hey Lemur, I have found absolute freewares that will do your job in 2 steps.

1- You'll have to convert your wmv files to mpeg with SUPER ©.

2- Then you'll combine the mpeg files with CombiMovie.

I didn't try them myself. Hope that helps.

LEN, you're a rock star, and I appreciate the quick response, but I was hoping for an app that could do it without requiring a format conversion. Still open to suggestions.

Then Windows Movie Maker is your friend, embedded into your XP (if you did not remove it though).
