I understand that there is currently a difference, and that only family members show up on the family tree, but there are so many of them, and the succession to the throne seems so random.

From what I remember, MTW had a small number of family members, and when a member became too far away from being in line to the throne they instead became a normal general? There's simply too many people on the family tree at the moment, and no real way of determining the immediate royal family (ie: 2nd, 3rd and 4th in line to the throne) and the associated hangers-on and semi-royal nobility.

Although not an outright inheritance as suggested, I wish there was an element of war of succession for a faction/province/state? Highly unlikely in this game, but what if no clear male heir is available, then factions with princesses from the disputed faction can lay claim to it and be a mission? For ex, King of Engld passed away and no male heirs could be found, since you are married to one of his daughters you can claim his lands, advance to london in x turns with an army and defeat all other clamaints already there, or something to that effect. How's that?

I would love to have seperate tree's for faction heirs, nobles and generals and yes to work a dynasty through marriages.

Of course I would love to see diplomacy open up a bit more where you could ask for troops, pay to have a family member assasinated, spread rumors to ignite 2 factions against each other.

The diplomacy in Imperial Glory wasnt bad, but its been awhile since played it.

good drugs or baaad drugs... because I hate that game. The "game" is missing from it a lot of times and just becomes managing your family trying to marry people and stuff... too much focus on the dynasty part- I just want a bit more dynasty in M2TW and I'd be happy.
