    Default Buildable unique buildings

There is space for a *very* limited number of buildable unique buildings. These would be buildings constructed during our mod's timeframe (272bc - 14ad). One will be the library of Alexandria. That's for sure. There are some slots still open - but the Romans will not be able to build any. It's complicated, but that's the only certainty. We just have no free building space, so we are using the one complex only one faction has access to, and that's the romans. But the upside is they can build equestrian race buildings anywhere, so no big loss.

Anyway, are there any good suggestions on what unique buildings could be built? BTW, Alexandria's library will have two stages also - so that is possible for a very few of these if they merit it.

Oh, and Petra's Great Temple Complex and associated buildings will probably be one also. Not present at the game's start, but buildable during it.

1.Altar of Apollo at Delos, or nearest geogaphical approcimation.

    2. The temenos at Hatra.

3.The last remaining village in gaul- not conquered by JC, along with a handy supply of magic potion.
In the three years of war, necessity gave birth to invention. During those three years, we built bombs, we built rockets, we designed and built our own delivery systems. For three years, blockaded without hope of imports, we maintained engines, machines, and technical equipment. We spoke to the world through a telecommunications system engineered by local ingenuity. In three years of freedom, we had broken the technological barrier. In three years, we became the most civilized, the most technologically advanced black people on earth."

If its possible, perhaps a second stage for the temple that already exists at the game's start in Jerusalem. This way the expansions to the second temple done by Herod around 19 BCE could be presented.

Hmm. Well, getting into constructions of local rulers is a bit more difficult. It draws into question Petra too though. Would any of our factions have constructed the second temple work done by Herod? Would the Sabaeans or some other faction have helped construction of the monuments at Petra?

And that building we already have in Jeruzalem or in a town verry near. Helio something, which was a place for various religions? Maybe you could be able to extend that one?

It will be much more difficult, though not impossible, to extend current buildings. One of our current complexes is full of levels.

Perhaps the option to create an expansion to the temple in Jerusalem (or any other work carried out by local rulers) could only occur if the faction that ends up getting the ability to build it installs a type IV government in the region. After all, Herod was a client-king of the Romans, so its not inconceivable that a puppet from a major faction would carry out such a construction project.

Yeah, but putting specific build conditions like that on the building level would mean all other variants have to share that build condition. Possible maybe, but instead of reworking current uniques, I'd like to start getting some other new ones in first.

Khelvan and Co. monuments located in Sparta.

A small community of fanatics were possessed, guided by the phrase "Quisque Est Barbarus Alio", to construct towering statues of unprecedented height in the likeness of the Gaesatae to overlook all of the Mediterranean. Construction began circa 181 BC and was completed in 82. A entire species of oliphaunts were wiped out in the process of building it (yubtseB), and to celebrate every pig from Ibera to India was set on fire and catapulted from the top of the completed works. The statues strike fear into the hearts of dogs, thus explaining why they have never been seen in the region ever since. The material used is suspected to be made entirely out of awesomeness.
