Extremely Slow Game

Why is this game so slow?

It takes me about 2 minute to load about the battle part of the game and the same for every turn I make.

It helps if you post system specs and more information in general than just why is the game so slow. There's another recent thread on the game running very slow, though I don't know if it came to a conclusion of some sort or not. My game boots up quite quickly, on my old system of 512 ram and 2ghz processor with 256mb video card, as well as my new one, which is much improved.

My computer has the same spec that your's has.

Try closing all other applications before you load EB (crtl+alt+del). If that doesn't do the trick you might also want to give it a higher priority.
