    Default Getting back vanilla GUI?

Hi, what is the best way to get back vanilla GUI?
I agree that EB's one is more stylish but personally I would prefer something more neutral for long hours in front of PC.

Go to eb/data/UI/ and delete the culture folders (barbarian, egyptian, roman, greek, eastern, carthaginian, nomad). The game will now load the vanilla UI. Make sure that you don't delete any of the other folders as these contain ancillary portraits and unit cards.

Don't delete them all foot, just the Interface files inside them. Heck, just rename them and you'll have them just in case. Deleting them all will get rid of building images and lots of other stuff - maybe even causing crashes for all I know.

Good call. I tried the Romans last night and while everything looked peachy at first I had to jack it in after a couple of hours due to eyestrain - mostly down to the text and background colours. Be great if someone could sort it out. A version for drunken old bastards with even older 17" screens or something.

Roman text background will be lightened more for the next patch to make it easier to read.
