I need helo with the patch!

I have done everything that you need to do to patch M2TW (I think anyway, I did do unpacking.) But when I look at the options menu, it's says I got 1.0! But when I go to the installer, it says I've got it installed!

EDit: fixed BIG mistake.

Hmm 1.1 should be the patched version, 1.0 is the original, isn't it...

Yep, pretty much. God, Can't the patches just be installing instead of unpacking, deleting, and things like that?!

Um... If your options screen says v1.1, you're patched and ready to go...

Copperhead Berserker: did you read what I added to the first post in the "patch is out" thread? I wrote what the .com moderator said about how to install the patch. I confess it was not at all obvious to me how to do it until he explained.

IIRC, what I did was:
1) Unzip the patch
2) Run the .exe within it to unpack the installer - choose a temporary directory (NOT your M2TW directory)
3) Run the patch setup.exe in the temporary directory - this will now find your M2TW directory and patch the game.

If you have done all that, I can't help you.

Yeah it would have ofc.

I just hit install to the default M2TW folder. Then I had a few sips of coffee and nothing was happening. I looked at the coffee, thinking is this coffee working coz I'm still kinda slow. LOL. Anyway a few minutes later I realised the coffee was working and I was alert. I rebooted the PC, then I went to look in the TW directory and lo and behold a setup file which just arrived there.

So yeah my little patch adventure.... exciting...not.
