Default How to get an errormessage when using the bat file?

So I used the unpacker and began to work suff over.

After a lot of changes to the ancilliary file I suffered crashes at startup. Obviously I had done something wrong, but what? Where was my mistake? I cuoldn't find out as I couldn't figure out to get a message of where the error lay. The old show_err could have been of use, but I can't seem to make it work.

So how can I change stuff without having to load up the game for every change?

Read the researchwiki on command line switches.

Also, this is the Tutorial forum, modding questions should be asked in the Modding Questions forum.

Aha... It just confused me... So I went all over the place and never seemed to be able to find the proper explaination. Oh well, I hope it works with the --io.file_first line... I better check it out.
