    Default Barbarian Lathargy

I've noticed that my Lustonian and Adeui campaings both have a common scenario where the other barbarian factions don't move an inch.

84 turns in and all of them save mine have not produced a single building (checking the graphs of other factions near me all show flat lines in production ranking).

Carthage is also being a bit of a waif, they have not made a move on me yet and my bank account is huge. I could blow them off Iberia with little problem, but I'm waiting for them to attack, looking for a challenge here.

    Hard/Hard settings, script is activated.

Sorry if some one already pointed this out.

There are indeed a lot of cases where certain factions will just be frozen all the way through. It seems to be different factions for different campaigns. In my campaign, the Lusotanan, Auedi, Arverni and Sweboz were all frozen. They had built up big armies but just weren't expanding at all, even though they were at war. Maybe they're "afraid" to attack the other factions, even rebels, when they all have such massive armies? Maybe it has something to do with scripted relations or mods to that aspect. Definately something that hurts gameplay and if sorted out, would make a world of difference.

In my campaigns the Arverni expand until they run into the Romans, then get destroyed. Lusotanians take a few settlements, then either be destroyed by Karthadast or just do nothing. Getai just stand there. Casse struggle with the rebels but at least try.
Of course, (from what i've heard) this only applies until the date (230 BC?) when the rebel generals start to die and their armies go AWOL. Then everyone suddenly discovers that they should expand
I think they're afrad of those uber generals
