Can't Re-install MTW

Hi all, wonder if anyone else has come across this problem. I tried to re-install Gold Edition MTW/VI recently and the installer initialisation program loads but then freezes before proceeding to the next stage. After looking at the CD it has quite a few scratches but I can copy all the files to desktop. Any suggestions on overcoming this would be appreciated.

My guess is that there is a empty MTW folder in your registry. Link.

If you can still copy files from your disc to your PC, then that shouldn't be the problem.

I can only second Rythmic's suggestion, take a look at the thread he linked to.

PS: Adrian II is absolutely right, RegCleaner is the way to go for those awfull registry issues. I'm going to shamelessly repost the link here
