I'm assuming you've tried this multiple times. Have you tried just starving them out? Making them sally will probably get you different results. I know it's time-consuming but if you really hate the Brits, it's worth it.

Tried that. If I do, then the game crashes when they sallie. It's a bug.

I used to get a similar thing when i play Vannilla RTW, which basicly consisted of whenever a faction was eliminated, if i clicked the faction eliminated tab, itd KTD, and thus i couldnt finish the game.
Is this the situation you're in?

I figured it out. It wasn't the Brits or the battle that was hung up. It was that the ARMY I was using somehow had 21 units stacked and that was causing the crash. I migrated one unit out of the stack and it stopped happening. weird huh?
