When I load Youtube, sometimes it brings up a full bar if I've seen it before, sometimes not.
I wanted to know...
A)Is it stored on my cookies?
B)If not, where on my computer?

Re: Pursuit of happiness
Have you just been dumped?
I ask because it's usually something like that which causes outbursts like this, needless to say I dissagree completely.
Partial answer -- YouTube is scripted almost entirely in Python, and all video plays through Flash, which does cache data. I'm doing a little reading, but from what I'm seeing, where and how Flash caches is a subject of much pain and argument.

Use the Unplug firefox addon and download the videos with just a click.
Oh, sure, if you want to do it the easy way ...
There are also websites such as www.keepvid.com where you enter the Youtube URL of the video so that it can save the streaming file to your HDD in .flv format. There is also a FLV player to play them.
Or You can save the videos in your Firefox cache folder.Originally Posted by Marshal Murat
