Default New reinforcement CTD? Or just my luck?

As Romani, I'm seiging Ippone with a solid army when I get attacked by a small general-led Carthaginian army; the much larger city garrison comes out to play with a bunch of spearmen and four units of elephants.

First time I played it, I got pretty badly mauled but pulled it out. CTD. So I load it up again, and this time manage to hit one of the elephant units with a simultaneous barrage from my Balearic slingers and pilum volleys from my principes. They run amok, charge into the next unit of elephants, which runs amok, and so on, until their army is virtually wiped out. Pure luck, but satisfying:

CTD again. Anyway, I've uploaded the save here. Let me know if anybody's got some input; I'd hate to go back the ten turns or so, but might have to.

Default Re: New reinforcement CTD? Or just my luck?

As long as this topic is being discussed:
So far I have had 3 post battle loading CTDs, all of which included a reinforcing army. Though one was just three captains so at least that one wouldn't be "that which shall not be mentioned" (unless it was calculating whether there should be a "man of the hour").

Cool Re: New reinforcement CTD? Or just my luck?

i was getting a consistant CTD before after fighting the battle in exactly the same circumstances except that i was sieging meidolanium and the romans attacked me. however i tried again later and did 'auto_win attacker' in the ~ frame before the battle and auto-resolved and it went through with no problem. if youve already won it fair and square then its not cheating
