    Default Well Met All!

Just thought I would say 'Hi'. I have been looking around this forum for a few days and finally registered. I got the Total War:Eras set a week ago and I have started playing Medieval Total War.

I have been gaming since the old Atari 2600. I have owned many of the consoles along with spending a great deal of time with PC Games, mainly RPG's (Planescape:Torment will always be my favorite).

I look forward to meeting all of you...

    Welcome CybrGmr

Ah, the good old Atari 2600. Pole Position, Solaris, Breakout, Realsports Boxing... Those were the games

"Megamania" - I don't know why, but I couldn't get enough of that game. "Adventure" was another classic - the glowing cup in the room with the dragon - what horrible graphics but what a fun game. Amazing how far we have come...

    Not to mention "Joust"

Oh, I've spend uncountable hours of my childhood on that machine. The graphics were horrible compared to what we're used to nowadays, but the fun. The fun. I've never had as much fun with those old Atari games then with any other fancy PC game ever...

    Nostalgia...

Megamania was greta fun, Tetris was also addictive (on the first Nintendo). Sometimes the simplest games are the best. The focus is on game play and not the flash.

I am also getting old - 40 is just 11 months away... and I feel it more and more each day...
