Save game editor?
Is there one yet for M2TW?
If not, is there anyway to modify the unit size of a save game? Changing it in the preferences file changes the number of troops as labelled on the unit card, but it doesn't actually change the unit size when a unit is built.

You can use the MedManager, it's in the files section. It can change the preferences.
Does anyone please know a way to modify the save game ? i.e for a start which programme do I open it with ?
