    Default Diffrences

I got the M2TW game not too long ago. I started playing, then I realised, oh I am in da toolet, this is not RTW, I lost the battle (luckily it was not a major battle, I quickly adapted and I am now ready to take on impossible odds and triumph heroically. I had also decided to finsh what I had started, so I loaded RTW and started playing, everything was going alright and then the Egyptians attacked, So along comes the battle and I lost, it was a mahusive battle, I lost a very powerful city (wealth wise). I now realise again that tacitcs required for the diffrent games are there, same thing happened when I tried MTW after I got RTW.
    PLease help with advice.

    Advice for M2:TW?

One the strategic side, I would suggest picking your castle spots carefully. Cities are more important, but you need just enough castles to be able to respond to threats and act aggressively. You see, Castles give good troops, cities give good cash. One well placed castle should be able to provide troops for a large area. For instance, I have one castle in England and two castles in France. All the rest are cities.

On the tactical side, cavalry are tricky. I can't help much about getting good charges out of them, though it is a bit easier now with the patch. Also, a trick I use: If your infantry are too spread out (which will happen quite a lot if your fighting in a settlement) I would charge your infantry just on the other side of the enemy infantry. When they get into your enemies ranks, attack them. This'll crush the forces behind your front line pretty quickly.
