Edit: I have the urge to contribute, so I'll give you some pretty colours accompanying my Macedonian army:
Weird to think that although it's a phalanx based army, it only has five phalangite units. Peltasts, Agrianians and the Pheraspidai make up for the flanking infantry, while the Hetairoi and the general flank from the high right and the Thessalians from the high left. The Promodroi and the Thracian cavalry chace skirmishers away from the main cavalry routes.
I like to think of it as pretty authentic.
