As the Pope...
what can you do? I've tried looking but have so far found nothing. I finally got one of my cardinals as the pope but it doesn't seem like you can do anything.So really what's the point of getting one of your own as the pope? Any help will be much appreicated. Thank you.

You can't do anything. All you get is that the Pope likes you, will acknowledge your Crusade requests more frequently, and I believe he sides with you more frequently in Catholic-on-Catholic action.
Other than that, its simply a pride and role-playing thing.

You also get a good boost to theologian guilds in all your cities when one of your funny-hatmen becomes head funny-hatman.

Thanks for the info.As of right now i'm the pope and have 4 cardinals to boot.
