I've been waiting for the Hellenic standard bearers to try some greek factions again, but that is no surprise.

I keep wanting to play a good long Pontos campaign, but there's not enough good units for them yet.

right now is the Romani since I don't have to wait ages to get the Reforms to kick in.

I WAS going to say Aedui but the bonuses where overlooked, so I'll wait for the next patch.

I am giving the Hellens a break this time... in .74 I played 2 long campains with KH and Makedonia.

Casse and Carthage are my favorite so far, Casse are fun because you can build up a home base on the islands and then use all the cash flow to support major invasions of the main land. Plus barbarian units just plain rock socks.

Well i don't know since the patch isn't out yet

btw which patch did you mean - 0.8.1 or 0.8.2? Because 8.1 only changes some recruitment and CTD issues, while 8.2 adds new units, skins etc...

Right now my favourite's Karthadast, but after the recruitment problems are fixed, i probably prefer Lusotana.
And when they get more units, Pontos should be very good too

I've played an Arche Seleukeia campaign and an Epeiros campaign. Both are very fun and very hard. I thought I would blitz Rome, but after taking Apri and leaving a token garrison, the bastards bribed it back. At least the war on the Macedonian front was going much better.

Unfortunately, my computer has a very hard time rendering large cities in seige battles so I had to stop out of sheer frustration of speed. Good news though...

... I just bought over $1,800 in new computer parts! We'll see how much it likes to lag when I have two graphics cards.
