Hi everyone

Just wanted to share my experience in my current Danish campaign. I didn't want the slog of fully taking over the campaign map so decided I would take the 3 provinces in front of my starting province and then the 2 provinces behind. From here I just wanted to build up and hold on to my 6 provinces.

After a few incursions by the English/Scottish I decided to teach them both a lesson. I sailed a large army over and landed at the top of the British Isles and started working my way down province by province. Unfortunately for me they both had the same idea and were busily working their way through my provinces as I had left a skeleton garrison in them all.

By the time we had finished I had taken all their provinces in the British Isles and they had taken the 6 provinces I had initially planned on holding onto. Now I am at the stage where I am sending my armies back to try and regain my initial provinces.

I am currently playing 1.2 and have enjoyed the large stacks the other factions are moving around as well as being targeted from land and sea in many places at once.

I know this game has its faults (don't they all) but I really enjoy this genre and life wouldn't be the same without the TW series!!!
