I thought the dialogue and acting were nop-notch. The acting was very very good especially when you consider how rubbish most video game voice overs are. The story does tail off a bit, and some of the puzzles are just annoying, but the characterisation and atmosphere pull it through.
I didn't like the track and field sequences much. Not that they were out of place, or too hard (the difficulty level can be changed for individual puzzles) but they are used most often for action sequences. Sadly this has the effect of concentrating the player's attention on the Simon-says sequences rather than the action itself, which is a shame since the graphics and animation are top-notch. The animation throughout is especially smooth, proper motion captured stuff.
Overall I enjoyed the game, though interactive story might be a better name for it. As mentioned, it is a flawed gem packed with innovation which doesn't always work, but since it should be available cheaply now it really is worth a go.
