Does anyone know if it could be possible to mod the movement of a siege tower?

Because siege towers should move only forward and backwards, not turn around like a vehicle. Siege towers can only move on specially prepared surface terrain - so many many weeks before the siege tower would be used, the besiegers would be constructing a "runway" for the siege tower.

Is it possible to mod the siege tower to only go forward and backwards?
