I'm probably getting MTW2 for Christmas and I was wondering about civil wars. Do they happen, is there a difference in how/why they happen then in MTW?
Are there good ways to reduce/increase the chances of civil war?

"I can do anything I want, I'm eccentric! HAHAHA!"-Rat Race
Do you think the Golden Rule should apply to masochists as well?
92% of teens have moved onto rap. If you are part of the 8% that still listen to real music, copy and paste this into your signature. yes that's right i dont listen rap..
No, they dont happen. All that happens are that occasionaly a captin will change to the rebels. It only happens once in my campaign.
Its a feature I really miss. Those were always a lot of fun in M1. It creates some sympathy for the AI to have to fight the armies you built rather than the garbage the AI fields. Shoe on the other foot, etc.
I didn't like that the other side turned into Rebels because then other factions would swoop in to grab provinces. It would be neat if they did something like the civil war system in Barbarian Invasion for every single faction. Not sure how Pope should behave under those conditions. Maybe he should not take sides or something.
Ditto another great MTW feature that bit the dust..!
Bring it back!
On a related note, when provinces rebel they don't seem to produce units under the control of the previous controlling faction anymore. I miss that also, it made blitzkrieg a lot harder.
