Hootie and The Blowfish the band you love but you dont quite know why. As I sit here listening to "Hold my hand" for the 27th time with my lighter fluid running on empty and my music freezing I will explore the phenommenon. Has there ever been a more whiter sounding black guy than Darius Rucker? I mean its like him and Micheal McDonald were switched at birth. Every time I hear him I wonder how he feels about not having a sweet soothing baratone vocie. Has there ever been a band that has done so much with so little? There entire collection of songs sound exactly the same! and yet they still managed 123e4234342 #1s. I have decided if the band wanted to take over the world in the mid 90s Rucker was like a black Hitler (the Populist Hitler not the jew-killing one) He appealead to everyone. Whites Blacks Mexcians Chinamen Indians old young middle aged men woman. Everyone loved this guy. Then all of a sudden the hits just stopped. The band didnt fall into drugs or infighting it just stopped just like this post.

Hootie is definately the whitest black man this side of Micheal Jackson. As for your metaphor of ending a post like their hits. Well at some point you have to end a post same as a streak. It's impossible to continue a post indefinately. You can try, fill the thing with as many adverbs the brain could possibly come to mind with. You could continue it till your hands hurt and bleed but inevitably you must end it and hit submit reply to thread button. Delay it a long as you like with pointless self gratifying sentences. But it will end you can't continue it forever. At some point a streak, or even a post must conclude.

We can compare it to a cat for instance. You can have the greatest cat in the world. Teach it to turn on and off the lights. How to use to toilet. Even how to open doors. But inevitably the cat will get hit by a car and stop.

Same thing happened to hootie and the blow fish. They reached a point were they had to stop. Just like your post, inevitably you reached a point were you described everything you could and halted it. Continueing it is merely irritating and contributes nothing to anything that was posted before it. Truly it's just self gratifying to continue. Just like your lighter, it must at somepoint stop. It will run out of butane. Even if you have refills on butane or even more lighters, it will stop and you would have to replace it. It will also burn your finger after awhile. Those darn metal parts at the top heat up quite alot. But like everything in the world a post, hootie, your favorite cat, or even your lighter it must stop.
