Ahh, I understand why. If I wanted to find out what level of base trait my general has then what do I have to do to see without losing save game compatibility?

Your best bet would be commenting out the Hidden lines for the Natural(Intelligence/Charisma/Energy), Selflessness, Temperament and Loyalty traits.
But lets face it, the trait system tells us a lot about the characters personalities that people wouldn't know if we met them.
Not really. At first, we don't know much about them, beyond a few vague generalities. This is how it tends to work in real life. As time marches on we figure out more and more about them, and the game works this way too.Originally Posted by Dumbass

Well I'd prefer it and think it'd be a tad more realistic if we were given a smidgen of more information...just something along the lines of how dull/lazy/selfish the guy is. I mean, you'd be able to tell if the guy was just of average intelligence or borderline retarded, but as of right now both things are filed under 'dull'.
I'm not saying flat out tell us their capabilities but perhaps just giving us a broad idea whether they're say just not the sharpest tool in the shed or completely idiotic.

Personally I'm pretty happy with how much information we get upon adoption - seeing their ethnicity and the other data about them that is shown is usually enough to compel me to think about it a bit before I decide. It's good for me as is.
Would that be save game compatable?Originally Posted by BozosLiveHere
