Pick A Faction; I'll Create a Campaign History

I've become bored now that I finally have enough mods and patches (AI, 2H, Tower, VnV, 1.1 fixes) to actually play the game, and im bored because i've been playing the factions all about twenty turns before I saw a major bug and just got so frustrated I gave up.

But if someone picks a faction for me to enjoy, no matter which one, i'll play it and create a Campaign History story/picture log. That'll keep me motivated to actually finish a single campaign rather than becoming annoyed with the bugs (I'd like to get a chance to use gunpowder anyways :P)

Do the Mongols... VH/VH ... restricted to using all cavalry armies only with minimum 10 slots per stack of horse archers, with the exception of siege equipment for siege battles.

Considering i've been so frustrated with problems in the game that I've given up on most campaigns,...

making me suffer the calvalry issues nonstop sounds like GOBS of fun!

To be honest you sound so annoyed and jaded with this game I see little point in you doing a "Campaign Story". Why agonise yourself over al those "gamekilling" bugs? Just put the game back on the shelf, play some different bug-free game (good luck finding one) and come back after a few patches. If you still find yourself in the pit of negativity with the game, e-bay it. Easy solution.

That's almost what I did with RTW, Wizzie. I bought the Gold Edition (RTW + expansion) pretty late after original release so most patches were already made. I never experienced any annoyances like some other people. (Though there were some arguably.)


But to advise a campaign choice, OMGLazers, why don't you do Egypt or the Moors? Or Russia. As long as it's not a typical western European faction, I'm fine with it.

That my friend is why I am glad they released the unpacker. All it takes is a few mods and VIOLA!
