Default Adding Rebels/Slave to Custom Battles...

Does anyone out there know how to get the Slaves/Rebels to show up as available for use in the Custom Battles Faction list...

I would like to be able to play some custom battles with mercenary and other units found only under their listing.

In the descr_strat, I added them as a playable faction, but that didn't work...

    Any ideas are greatly appreciated...

    Thanks,

I wondered about this too. The RTW way of changing the custom battle available value in descr_sm_factions doesn't seem to work at all either, making the Rebels playable does nothing, an removing some of the other factions also does not make them unavailable.

hi guys, i got this to work, do what you said about changing 'no' to 'yes' in the slave section of the descr_sm_factions file for custom_battle_availability, then delete the map.rwm file in the data/world/maps/base folder. Then start RTW.

WARNING! just thought, keep a copy of your old map.rwm file and a backup of the descr_sm_factions file. You may not need to but playing it safe is best, im not sure whether reverting back to old saved games would be a problem.
