Then I won't be doing any strat map bits. Good to know that work is going on there. As for spare time: I regret to tell you that in the next few weeks mine will be little too...

(Anyway after I've handed in a few papers at school, I'll be having loads of spare time so (a good deal of) patience is all it takes...)

Besides, is there be anyone else out there intrested in and capable of doing translations?! His/Her help will be greatly appreciated, since (for a start) it would speed things up so much.

Another side notes: what happened to Teleklos' contribution, did he quit working on the Voice Mod and move on to other aspects of EB? And how about Shigawire, I haven't seen him on the forums since about a week ago.

In fact, strat map bits are done. Just some smallish revisions needed. No need to worry at all about that. "Ask me for anything but time" as Napoleon said. Patience is and can only be a virtue on this matter.

Teleklos contribution was vital to the Greek Voicemod, as his work was the foundations of what you heard and hopefully enjoyed on EB 0.80. As for Shigawhire, the man is enjoying Christmas. He's fine. Don't worry about it!!

And another question, if you don't mind answering..."ΔΙΠΛΩΜΑΤΗΣ" was used in the ancient times or is it a neo-logismos, aka ancient greek sounding modern greek word? "ΠΡΟΞΕΝΟΣ" I know was used, but is it right? Any other suggestions as to the word "Diplomat"?

To save some time, I'm using transliterations rather than Greek.

About the first, dunno. Anyway it's not mentioned in my Ancient Greek > Dutch dictionary which gives that it wasn't used very much for sure.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
It only includes words that are used by either Homeros, or Herodotos, or Plato (only his earlier and 'midtime' works), or Euripides, or Lysias and are more than 10 times used in their work + the words that appear at least 15 times in the (combined) works of two of the above mentioned authors, and a few words that were used by other writers such as Sophokles. As you can see, it is first and foremost meant for translating the work of only a few writers.

About the second, well here's a few words that might help you out:
    1) Xenikos (related to a stranger, alien, foreign)
    2) Xenios (hospitable)

On a side note, some words of which I think EB might be able to use them:
    1) Phluarein (to talk nonsense)
    2) Philochrematos (greedy)
    3) Phlauros (inferior, coward, ugly, bad)
    4) Philovikos (ambitious)
    5) Phoros (tribute)
    6) Phonios (murderous, killing, lethal, bloody)
    7) Phortikos (uncivilized, rude, awkward, vulgar)

Another side note: somatophulake (literally body-guard) could be replaced with phulake for this may also stand for bodyguard.
