Yeah, AMDs measure things much differently. Say I have an AMD 1GHz 2200+. The actual clockspeed is 1GHz, but it performs at a level equal to a Pentium running at 2.2 GHz. This is simply because AMD has been able to get more work-per-cycle done than Pentium, but the new Core Duos seem to be getting good reviews - but yet, AMD still hasn't released their new generation of CPUs.
