Default Need for Speed - series

So I recently finished my copy of Need for Speed: Carbon( Collectors Edition). Fairly easy, and very short too. A nice addition to my collection, anyhow, but it's worse than Underground 1.

So, how many other Orgahs play Need for Speed? Any opinions on the latest title, Carbon? And also, any favourite game of the series?

    NFS 2 FTW!

I also remember liking 3, never got too happy with 4, Underground was nice too!
"Cry, the beloved country, for the unborn child that is the inheritor of our fear. Let him not love the earth too deeply. Let him not laugh too gladly when the water runs through his fingers, nor stand too silent when the setting sun makes red the veld with fire. Let him not be moved when the birds of his land are singing, nor give too much of his heart to a mountain or a valley. For fear will rob him of all if he gives too much."

Yes, I played a lot of NFS 2 in the early days. Played it over LAN, much fun and a game of Red Alert afterwards

Way too short. I've been playing it for a day and I'm already 38% complete. Tssssh.. I won the pink slip to the first boss' car. Silver Aston Martin. It's pretty sweet for an early car.

Carbon, I agree. Waaaay too short. I finished it in about 12 hours.
I played 4 hours on the Internet, but I rapidly got bored.

Need for Speed ain't what it used to be.

I used to have Need for Speed 2 and Hot Pursuit 1, until our house was broken into and the theiving little bugger took a lot of games a few years ago.

I am not a big fan of racing games but I enjoyed evading police on Hot Pursuit. That was my favourite game too once upon a time. My friend and I would play split screen.

    Stupid theives.

I've played Underground and Underground II (don't have 'em, though--a friend of mine does), and I enjoyed them highly. I'd recommend them.

I haven't played a NFS game in years. I was never a real big fan, but the ones I have played I enjoyed. The NFS games I got are NFS 2: Special Edition (PC), NFS Hot Pursuit (PSX), and NFS High Stakes (PSX). I think High Stakes would probably be my favorite. I liked being the cop and the damage to the cars (albeit limited by the PSX).

    Ausculta mihi! Tibi dico!
